Role & Client Overview: We have an exciting opportunity for an English Teacher to join our clients team, based on-site at HMP The Mount. In this role, you will deliver Higher-Level English tutoring, working with small groups of learners within the prison to help develop their skills, knowledge, and behaviours. You will support learners in achieving their long-term goals and aspirations, ensuring that appropriate training plans, advice, and guidance are in place. Our tutors are passionate about delivering high-quality, engaging courses that help learners reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Higher-Level English tutoring to small groups of learners.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learner needs.
  • Ensure training plans are in place and provide guidance and support when required.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Use a range of teaching methods to support different learning styles.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner achievements and assessments.
