Salary: Β£30,000 – Β£32,000 (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm)

Role Overview:

We are recruiting an experienced Employability Partnership (Project) Manager to lead the delivery of a new hyper-local employment hub in Speke, in partnership with a local housing association. This role is at the heart of bringing employment support into the community, ensuring residents have access to practical, welcoming, and effective services that help them move closer to meaningful work and improved wellbeing. You will coordinate employment and wellbeing support delivered from the hub, manage staff and caseloads, build strong partnerships, and develop innovative approaches to engage local residents. Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Employment Hub Delivery
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Reach Centre hub, ensuring smooth running and compliance with GDPR and funder requirements.
  • Coordinate and enhance employment and wellbeing support services delivered from the hub.
  • Develop outreach strategies to engage residents, including community employment champions and local networks.
  • Build strong partnerships with local agencies (e.g., health, housing, CAB, police) to provide holistic support.
  • Support Employment Coaches and manage a caseload of participants, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
  • Develop links to progression opportunities such as work clubs, work trials, training, volunteering, and enterprise.
  • Employer Engagement
    • Promote CSR opportunities to employers, encouraging involvement in mock interviews, careers talks, and guaranteed interviews.
    • Engage employers to advertise vacancies and participate in hub activities.
    • Maintain awareness of local employment initiatives and promote the hub’s work.
  • Communications & Partnership Development
    • Contribute to newsletters, social media, and website content to promote the hub and its services.
    • Attend networking events to share best practice and build relationships with employers and partners.
    • Foster a collaborative environment with partners delivering services from the hub.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
    • Provide regular reports to the Operations Director and ensure accurate data recording for funder requirements.
    • Produce monthly reports detailing participant progression and outcomes.
    • Attend supervision meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of the service.

    Essential Criteria:

    • Experience in managing employability or community-based projects.
    • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage staff and caseloads.
    • Excellent partnership-building and communication skills.
    • Ability to develop innovative engagement strategies and deliver against KPIs.
    • Understanding of safeguarding, GDPR, and compliance requirements.
    • Driving licence and access to own transport.

    Desirable Criteria:

    • Knowledge of local employment initiatives and networks.
    • Experience delivering training or workshops related to employability and wellbeing.
    • Familiarity with funder reporting and monitoring processes.
