Job Title: Early Years Assessor Salary: Up to £33,300 (Plus Bonus – up to £2,000) Location: Guildford – Hybrid working Contract: Permanent Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated Apprenticeship Trainer and Assessor to support apprentices in the Early Years Education sector (Levels 2-5) and Teaching Assistant roles. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality training, assessment, and support to ensure timely program completion. Key Responsibilities * Assessment & Training: * Conduct skills reviews and workplace observations. * Develop individualized training plans and deliver tailored workplace training. * Assess skills and behaviours, providing feedback through ePortfolios. * Support apprentices in achieving English, Maths, and other functional skills. * Coordination & Support: * Monitor candidate progress and ensure timely completion of portfolios. * Prepare apprentices and employers for End Point Assessments. * Record and report on Additional Learning Support (ALS). * Administration: * Maintain accurate candidate records and documentation. * Complete Gateway and End Point Assessment requirements. About You Essential: * Relevant qualification or experience in Early Years Education or Schools sector. * At least 2+ years of experience as a Manager within a Nursery setting. * Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications. * Strong IT skills and ability to use e-portfolios. * Full driving license and willingness to travel. * Proven ability to build professional relationships and motivate learners. Desirable: * Assessor or IQA/IV qualification. * Experience in Further Education, Early Years management, or training environments.
