We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Installation Assessor to join a forward-thinking training provider delivering high-quality apprenticeships across the construction and building services sectors. You will support a combination of internal and subcontracted apprentices across Greater London and the South East, helping them progress through their qualification and achieve successful completion. You will play a key role in delivering apprenticeship standards aligned to City & Guilds frameworks, working collaboratively with colleagues to prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA) and ensuring the training experience is engaging, professional, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver apprenticeship training and assessment in Electrical Installation (up to Level 3).
- Carry out both onsite and remote observations, assessments, and progress reviews.
- Use OneFile to monitor, record, and assess learner progress.
- Ensure learners meet the 20% off-the-job training requirement and learning plans are adhered to.
- Deliver high quality, engaging sessions that motivate and inspire learners.
- Work closely with the IQA team to maintain compliance and consistently high-quality delivery.
- Set clear, meaningful objectives with learners and conduct structured quarterly reviews.
- Collaborate with workplace mentors to track progress and ensure effective development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit all required records within agreed deadlines.
Key Requirements
- Recognised Assessor Qualification (e.g., CAVA or A1), or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong occupational competency in Electrical Installation.
- Minimum Level 4 Electrical qualification.
- Recent experience delivering apprenticeship programmes.
- Familiarity with e-portfolio platforms such as OneFile.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills.
- Confident using online tools for remote assessment and delivery.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
