Bricklaying Assessor\\n\\nLocation β Hybrid β 50/50 split between home working and on-site delivery (Greater London & South East)\\n\\nSalary β Up to Β£45,000\\n\\nContract β Full time, Permanent\\n\\nStart Date β July 2025\\n\\nRole Overview\\n\\nWe are looking for an experienced and passionate Bricklaying Assessor to join a progressive training provider delivering high-quality apprenticeship training across the Greater London area and the South East. You will be responsible for assessing learners working towards Level 2 Bricklaying qualifications, supporting them through to successful completion and End Point Assessment (EPA).\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Deliver and assess Bricklaying Apprenticeships in line with relevant awarding body requirements.\\n\\n * Plan, observe, assess, and provide feedback to learners both on-site and via remote delivery platforms.\\n\\n * Utilise OneFile e-portfolio system to record learner progress, set targets, and support development.\\n\\n * Ensure learners are meeting the requirements of 20% off-the-job training, ensuring all activity is logged appropriately.\\n\\n * Support learners in preparation for EPA by conducting regular reviews and mock assessments.\\n\\n * Liaise with workplace mentors to ensure a supportive and collaborative learning environment.\\n\\n * Maintain up-to-date records, contribute to internal quality assurance and attend standardisation meetings.\\n\\n * Deliver engaging, compliant training in line with curriculum plans and quality frameworks.\\n\\nKey Requirements\\n\\n * Recognised Assessor Qualification (CAVA, A1, or equivalent) β or willingness to work towards.\\n\\n * Occupational competency in Bricklayingβ with relevant industry qualifications.\\n\\n * A minimum of Level 3 Bricklaying qualifications.\\n\\n * Experience of working within the apprenticeship sector, ideally delivering or assessing Bricklaying standards.\\n\\n * Knowledge of apprenticeship delivery models and quality assurance processes.\\n\\n * Excellent organisational and communication skills.\\n\\n * Confident using digital platforms, with experience of remote delivery an advantage.\\n\\n * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.\\n\\nBenefits:\\n\\n * 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays + 1 extra day for each year of service up to 3 years\\n\\n * Pension Scheme β 5% employee contribution / 5%+ employer contribution\\n\\n * Mileage β 45p per mile for the first 10,000 β 25p per mile for travel after 10,000\\n\\nWe appreciate your interest and encourage you to explore our website and Indeed for future opportunities
