Teaching Assistant Tutor Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 DOE Location: Merseyside (Hybrid) (Driver Essential with access to vehicle) About the Role: Plan, coordinate, mentor, and deliver training and assessments for apprentices in Teaching Assistant (Level 3) and Specialist Teaching Assistant (Level 5) programs. Share expertise from the schools sector to ensure apprentices excel and complete their programs on time. Key Responsibilities: Assessment: * Conduct skills reviews with apprentices and employers. * Develop and deliver tailored training plans. * Maintain candidate records and assess workplace skills and behaviors. Training: * Deliver high-quality training using approved resources. * Provide tutorial support, including functional skills, safeguarding, British Values, and personal development. * Lead online classroom sessions for cohorts of apprentices. Coordination and Support: * Monitor progress, provide support, and ensure timely portfolio and assessment completions. * Liaise with employers, provide reports, and attend CPD events and conferences as required. Administration: * Complete and maintain all program documentation. * Ensure timely progression and achievement for all learners. Essential Requirements: * Relevant teaching L5 qualification (DTLLS, PGCE etc.) and 2+ years of experience as a teacher/TA. * Up-to-date industry knowledge and Level 2 Numeracy & Literacy. * Experience working with employers in training or customer relations. * Strong IT skills and ability to motivate learners. Desirable Requirements: * Assessor/teaching qualification or relevant degree. * IV/IQA qualification and experience in schools or similar environments.
