Reporting to the UK CEO, Trifork is looking for a Business Unit Director to lead and grow our London-centred consulting and software delivery business, with responsibility for customer growth, delivery quality, people leadership and commercial performance. This is a senior leadership role with significant influence over the growth, culture and future direction of the UK business.

We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, people-focused and technically credible - someone who can build trusted relationships with customers, support the growth of the business and create an environment where talented engineers and consultants can thrive. This is not a traditional corporate management role. We’re looking for someone collaborative, pragmatic and entrepreneurial; someone equally comfortable discussing strategy with senior business leaders, supporting complex customer engagements and working closely with technologists and delivery teams.

The role combines commercial leadership, customer relationship development, operational ownership and people leadership. You’ll play a key role in shaping the next phase of growth for the UK business, working closely with senior leadership across the UK and the wider Trifork Group, including the CTO Office, to drive collaboration, innovation and sustainable growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Growing the Business
  • Build strong long-term relationships with customers, partners and the wider technology community.
  • Help identify, shape and win new business opportunities.
  • Support strategic consulting conversations, proposals and customer engagements.
  • Grow the visibility and reputation of Trifork within the UK market.
  • Identify new areas for growth, collaboration and partnerships.
  • Leading People & Teams
    • Lead and support a high-performing team of consultants and engineers.
    • Foster a collaborative, low-ego and people-first culture.
    • Oversee hiring, mentoring and career development.
    • Create an environment where talented people can thrive.
    • Balance business growth with sustainable delivery and team wellbeing.
  • Delivery, Operations & Leadership
    • Oversee successful delivery across customer engagements.
    • Help maintain high standards across engineering, consulting and delivery.
    • Work closely with technical leadership across Trifork Group on technology direction and innovation.
    • Own the operational and commercial health of the business unit, including forecasting, utilisation and P&L accountability.
    • Help shape the future direction and growth of the UK business.

    What You’ll Be Accountable For

    • Business unit growth, profitability and EBITDA performance.
    • Forecasting, utilisation and operational health.
    • Customer satisfaction and long-term account growth.
    • Consulting pipeline and revenue development.
    • Team retention, hiring and leadership capability.
    • Delivery quality and sustainable execution.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience leading within a software consultancy, technology business or modern engineering organisation.
    • Demonstrable commercial ownership and P&L responsibility.
    • Strong relationship-building and business development capability.
    • Someone who can build trust equally well with customers, executives and technologists.
    • Technical credibility and understanding of modern software engineering environments.
    • Experience balancing commercial growth, delivery and people leadership.
    • A low-ego, pragmatic leadership style with the ability to build trust across commercial, technical and delivery teams.
    • An existing network within the UK technology ecosystem would be a strong advantage.
    • Based in the UK and within commuting reach of London.
