Creativity Media is a post-production company with a new attitude. We are building our company on the notion that great talent is the key to great films. We have post-produced over 180 films and television programs, from BIFA and BAFTA winners to box office hits and festival favourites. Our recent work includes Mike Leigh’s latest feature (Hard Truths) as well as Johnny Depp’s directorial debut feature (Modi). The work we do spans a diverse set of genres, including independent features, TV drama, scripted comedy, and high-end factual documentaries.

About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Post Production Manager to join our vibrant and constantly growing team at Creativity Media! You will be the main point of contact in the post department for drama projects. You will ensure a smooth workflow through the Post Production process (from offline to delivery), whilst making sure that projects are delivered on time and within budget to make Post production at Creativity Media an exceptional and wonderful experience! You will need to be a key team player by building strong working relationships with clients and internal departments and enjoy working across a variety of genres as it will not only be drama-based work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling Projects and resources and updating them with changes to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Liaising with other team members to ensure maximum utilisation of resources.
  • Be the hub of project communications, ensuring in-house teams have all of the required information to hand and relevant parties are present for creative sign-off.
  • Thinking on your feet: troubleshooting and providing fast and effective solutions, pre-empting potential project issues to the Executive Post Producer.
  • Provide quotes and maintain cost tracking; regularly update clients and ensure potential overspend is signed off before completion.
  • Advise clients on best working practices, latest workflows, and delivery requirements in accordance with what is in the best interest of the specific project you are working on.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered in a timely manner as per the client’s delivery schedule.
  • Be the first point of contact for clients: address all of their concerns, provide sensible and efficacious advice, and create strong working relationships with our clients.
  • Accurately report to clients on final costings and promptly invoice projects in good time and as per agreed terms.
  • To assist, when requested, cover for other post producers during times of absence.

You will need to have experience in post-production delivery and be a specialist with extensive experience in Offline and Online Editing, VFX, Grade, Quality Control, and Sound Post Production.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

  • At least 3 years experience working as a Post-production Manager/Post Producer/Post Production Supervisor working in the drama space.
  • A proven track record of delivering to tight deadlines and strict guidelines to distributors, broadcasters, and streamers.
  • An excellent knowledge of Post Production workflows, processes, and terminology.
  • Demonstrable track record of commercial awareness and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of digital file formats and codecs.
  • Excellent numeracy and writing skills.
  • Able to work independently without supervision.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering flawless, high-quality work.
