Ringside Studios is a high-end television drama production company based in central London backed by France’s Studio TF1 Group. We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting Company Assistant to join our small team and provide essential administrative and office support.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the diaries of the executives of Ringside. Setting meetings, arranging travel etc.
  • Maintaining an overview across the broader Ringside team’s diaries.
  • General administrative and office management tasks to keep the office running smoothly, including liaising with the landlords, coordinating with other company assistants, and managing meeting room bookings.
  • Liaising with production / post-production teams to ensure a good interface between Ringside and the operational teams making projects.
  • Processing expense returns, invoices etc and supporting the company accountant.

Qualifications

  • Excellent professional attitude, strong organisational / problem solving skills and a focus on detail.
  • Ability to work productively under pressure and without constant supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows at once, and prioritise accordingly.
  • Passion for television drama and a good understanding of the process of TV drama production.
  • Working knowledge of the main Office applications: Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
  • Familiarity with other IT applications used within the industry: Final Draft, Adobe, etc.

Would suit someone who has a genuine passion for the industry, and some relevant experience which demonstrates the above qualities.

PLEASE NOTE this is an administrative, not a development role. That said, we are a small team who work collaboratively and there will be opportunities to learn more about and get involved in development work if desirable and main workload permits.

We operate a hybrid working from home / in the office policy. In normal circumstances the company assistant will be expected to man the office at least 2/3 days a week – with slight flexibility on days, though ultimately this will be at the discretion of the executives, office management requirements, and according to the general operational needs of the companies. If the company is in active production thence the number of days required in the office is expected to increase.
