Trident Health is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist in Slough for a new locum position.

Position Details:

  • Band 8a Pharmacist for Acute Medicine
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Purpose: To help cover winter pressures

Requirements:

  • Experience working within ED as a Band 8a

Duties:

  • Promote and ensure safe and clinically effective drug prescribing and administration on acute medical wards.
  • Provide senior clinical support on ED and Admission Wards, including escalation beds.
  • Support the Acute Emergency Ambulatory Care Unit (AECU) with clinical pharmacy services.
  • Willingness to undertake training to act as an independent non-medical prescriber within this specialist area, including medicines reconciliation on admission and prescribing at discharge, including MCAs on FP10s for community pharmacy supply.
