We are recruiting for an experienced Scrub Nurse to join our high-performing Theatre Team. Who is competent in a variety of different surgeries, not limited to Gyne, minor Orthopaedics, Plastics, Breast, General, Urology, Spinal, Neuro, Laparoscopy and Ophthalmology.

Our client operates a network of 38 private hospitals and ten clinics across the UK. You will be working for the second largest provider of private healthcare in the United Kingdom.

Duties and responsibilities:

The successful Scrub Nurse will prepare the operating theatre room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum. You will run a theatre list without supervision.

Assessing patients health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
You will be responsible for patient care, setting up for cases and assisting in the day to day running of theatres
Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Scrub Nurse (RGN) Band 5/6 who is NMC or HCPC registered. You will be proactive and enthusiastic with excellent communication and organisation skills are key to continuing our high standards of patient care.

As a scrub nurse, there are plentiful shifts to suit your needs. Monday to Sunday, 7 days a week, including day shifts (08.30-20.00) and night shifts (20.00-08.30) With a high volume of shifts available, we are able to match as per your desired rota.

Salary:

Between £34.00 – £40.00 per hour during weekdays, weekends and bank holidays
