Overview

Trident Healthcare Solutions are looking for an experienced, Registered Manager in a Children’s residential setting, leading, managing, and developing a team of residential childcare workers who will be helping and supporting the children with their daily needs.

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: £32,000 – £38,000

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities

  • To ensure that the home meets the standards and expectations of its statement of purpose.
  • The home manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the homes.
  • You will be proactive in developing the home and raising its profile in the community.
  • You’ll be responsible for recruitment, retention, training, and staff development.
  • You will participate in the regular supervision of staff and ensure that the staff employed are able to carry out their role effectively.
  • As the home manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of excellent service within the home.
  • You will ensure that the home is compliant with care standards regulations and that evidence of such compliance is permanently recorded and available for inspection by CQC and local authorities.
  • A critical requirement of this role is maintaining a high standard of care planning, delivery, and record keeping.
  • Attend regular meetings with the managing director and assist the director of operations in developing and implementing new approaches to service delivery.

To be Considered / Qualifications

  • Level 3 Child Care/ Level 4 Child Care.
  • Good standard literacy and numeracy
  • Good organizational skills
  • Team building and supervision skills
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Residential experience as a registered manager in a children’s residential setting.
  • Residential experience as a deputy manager in a children’s residential setting.
