Overview
Trident Healthcare Solutions are a fast-growing agency supplying temporary workers into various positions. We take great pride in the service we give to both our members and our clients. Our client operates a network of 38 private hospitals and ten clinics across the UK. You will be working for the second largest provider of private healthcare in the United Kingdom.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare the operating theatre room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum.
- Run a theatre list without supervision and supervise/mentor junior staff (subject to experience).
- Assessing patients health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
- You will be responsible for patient care, setting up for cases and assisting in the day to day running of theatres.
- Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
Who we are looking for
- Scrub Nurse (RGN) Band 5/6 who is NMC or HCPC registered.
- Proactive and enthusiastic with excellent communication and organisation skills; orthopaedic scrub experience in major orthopaedic cases is essential.
Shift pattern
There are plentiful shifts to suit your needs. Monday to Sunday, 7 days a week, including day shifts (08:30-20:00) and night shifts (20:00-08:30). With a high volume of shifts available, we are able to match as per your desired rota.
Salary
Between £40.00 – £44.00 per hour during weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays.
