Trident Healthcare is looking for Care Assistants to support the overall care team and work collaboratively during shifts to ensure continuity of services to residents. You will create a welcoming, supportive, and stimulating environment, building relationships with residents and their families.

Reporting to: Manager, Nurse, or senior staff on duty

Key Tasks:

  • Supporting daily living tasks such as personal care, hygiene, housekeeping, and mealtimes, including manual handling duties as required.
  • Accessing and updating confidential records using a computer.
  • Maintaining a schedule of medication intake.
  • Ensuring the environment is safe and clean.
  • Maintaining an environment appropriate to the needs of residents.
  • Assisting residents with administrative tasks like paying bills and shopping for food.
  • Working hours vary depending on ward needs, typically including long days or night shifts.
  • All applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK already in place.
