We are seeking a Locum Band 7 Community Speech and Language Therapist for a full-time, Community Stroke role based in Ilford.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical management and treatment for adult patients with acquired swallowing and communication disorders stemming from a stroke.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient‑centred care across the community.
Therapy requires prior NHS or similar experience, excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families and healthcare professionals, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice. A car is required for this role, as you will be travelling across the area.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in treatment of adults with acquired swallowing and communication disorders.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and medical teams.
