We are looking to recruit an experienced and committed Theatre staff / Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join our friendly operating theatre team. You will be exposed to the latest innovative, evidence-based clinical techniques.
Most important is that our Theatre staff / Operating Department Practitioners (ODP’s) are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures, including Anaesthetics and Recovery.
Our client operates a network of 38 private hospitals and ten clinics across the UK. You will be working for the second largest provider of private healthcare in the United Kingdom.
Duties and responsibilities:
The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload as an ODP, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.
Who we are looking for:
You will be a Registered Operating Department Practitioner(ODP) with HCPC and be used to working in teams and with minimum supervision. Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration/practitioner qualification and additional training is also desirable.
As an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) your hours may primarily be daytime hours. However, the shifts may vary during the day. With a high volume of shifts available, we are able to match as per your desired rota.
Salary:
Between £35.00 – £43.00 per hour during weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays
