**LOCUM CLINICAL PHARMACIST NEEDED IN FRIMLEY, SURREY**
Trident Health is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist in FRIMLEY, SURREY, for a new LOCUM position.
*We are looking for a Band 8a Pharmacist specializing in Acute Medicine to join the team for 6 months to help cover winter pressures.
Candidates should have experience working within ED as a Band 8A.
Duties
- To promote and ensure safe and clinically effective drug prescribing and administration to acute medical wards.
- To work specifically on ED and the Admission Wards, providing senior clinical support to all escalation beds.
- To support the Acute Emergency Ambulatory Care Unit (AECU) by providing clinical pharmacy services to all patients.
- To undertake training to act as an independent non-medical prescriber within this specialist area as appropriate.
Responsibilities include medicines reconciliation on admission and prescribing of medicines on discharge, including MCAs (Multi-compartment Aids) on FP10s for supply by Community Pharmacists.
