Property Accounts Assistant. OUR CLIENT is an international real estate development and investment company who are rapidly growing in the UK. They own large commercial properties in main UK’s cities and are looking to further diversify their portfolio. They are looking to recruit a Property Accounts Assistant (newly created role)to assist the Property Accountant and wider team. THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES for Property Accounts Assistant will include: Processing, coding, and payment of all invoices for the managed portfolio on a week-to-week basis. Undertaking portfolio credit control/accounts receivable tasks. Managing the collection of rent, service charge, insurance, utilities, and other charges over the monthly and quarterly cycles. Ensuring compliance with internal accounting, legal and RICS regulations. Resolving problems in relation to invoice payments. Reconciling tenant accounts. Conducting credit checks on incoming tenants and highlighting potential trends/problems with existing occupiers. Reporting on collection rates and adhering to internal deadlines.
