Trident Search have recently partnered with a cyber security start up who are growing their European engineering hub. This position will be based in the United Kingdom and does NOT offer visa sponsorship.
They are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join their ever growing team, where involved in designing, developing, and maintaining key features of their platform.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with strong expertise in Python and relevant backend frameworks.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
- Proven experience leading technical strategy and decision-making within a development team.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Hasura (GraphQL engine)
- Digital Ocean or Azure (cloud infrastructure)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in cybersecurity or IT security application development.
- Prior experience leading backend development in a fast-growing startup.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of NEXT.js (or other React-based frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Zitadel (identity management)
- Strapi (CMS)
