The group continued to expand and currently has 500 pupils across the four campuses. Trident Schools forms part of the Trident Group of schools operated by Educore Services, a leading provider of independent schooling in Zambia. The curriculum in all schools is strongly focused on the Cambridge curriculum from pre-school to 6th Form.

The Role

Trident Schools seek to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic educator to lead Learning and Behavioural Support across the group. The successful candidate will be based at Trident College Solwezi, where they will initially spend most of their time, and will report to the Executive Head through the Head of Trident College. This role is first and foremost a Learning Support leadership position, with scope to help shape a broader pastoral support model as the schools continue to grow.

Pastoral and Boarding Involvement

Trident College Solwezi offers boarding, and pupil support naturally extends beyond the classroom. Exposure to pastoral and boarding contexts will form part of the role. Experience in counselling or boarding is advantageous but not essential. A willingness to engage in the wider life of the school, including a boarding house attachment, would be welcomed and supported. We encourage applications from outstanding Learning Support practitioners who may wish to grow into broader pastoral responsibilities over time.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Education degree, or a bachelor’s degree with a Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Learning Support and/or a related pastoral role.
  • Current registration as a teacher or with a relevant professional association.

Skills and Personal Attributes

The successful candidate will:

  • Be motivated to make a meaningful difference in pupils’ lives within a Zambian context.
  • Enjoy living and working in a small, well-resourced, rural African community.
  • Take a collegiate and collaborative approach to developing resources and practice.
  • Be innovative, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Thrive in an evolving and growing school environment.

Closing Date: Please complete application link before 27 February 2026.

Start Date: As soon as possible but no later than 1 September 2026.

Please complete the form. Shortlisted applicants will then be contacted for further details, including proof of qualifications. Due to Educore Services’ commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and criminal records checks.
