An established Mechanical & Electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join its growing engineering team. The business delivers installation, maintenance, and project works across a range of commercial and industrial environments including education, healthcare, retail, public sector, warehousing, and food production facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Electrician looking to work within a professional and expanding M&E business offering a varied workload across electrical, HVAC, and building services projects.
Electrician Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out commercial electrical installation works across a variety of sites
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
- Conduct EICRs, testing, inspection, and associated remedial works
- Install and maintain lighting systems, emergency lighting, and power distribution systems
- Support HVAC and mechanical projects with associated electrical works
- Install containment systems including tray, basket, trunking, and conduit
- Complete rewiring and project works to a high standard
- Attend reactive and emergency call-outs when required
- Ensure all works are completed in line with current regulations and health & safety standards
- Accurately complete job sheets, certification, and service documentation
Electrician Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS/CSCS Card
- Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent desirable)
- Experience within commercial or industrial environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
