The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller / CAD CAM Programmer to join a precision engineering company based in Slough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist with strong programming experience who is confident working with Haas 3 and 5-axis machining centres and Fusion 360.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating Haas CNC milling machines
- Working across 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres
- Offline CAD/CAM programming using Fusion 360
- Producing components from engineering drawings and specifications
- Setting tooling, workholding and machining parameters
- Carrying out first-off inspection and ensuring components meet required tolerances
- Optimising existing programs, tooling and machining processes
- Working independently to manufacture high-quality precision components
Experience Required
- Strong CNC milling experience
- Ability to program, set and operate CNC mills
- Experience with Haas machining centres
- 3-axis and ideally 5-axis machining experience
- Fusion 360 CAD/CAM programming experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds and machining techniques
- Experience within precision or subcontract engineering would be advantageous
