Trident Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer on behalf of a leading precision engineering company based in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern manufacturing environment, working on high-precision components while benefiting from a weekend or permanent night shift, flexible working hours, and an excellent hourly rate.
The Role
- Programming, setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines
- Programming using Siemens 828D or Siemens 840D controls
- Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out first-off inspections and maintaining quality standards
- Working independently to achieve production targets
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience programming Siemens 828D or Siemens 840D
- Strong experience with 3-axis CNC milling
- Able to programme directly from engineering drawings
- Background in precision engineering or advanced manufacturing
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
