Trident Recruitment are working with a leading employee-owned refrigeration specialist who are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their growing regional team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a varied role working across commercial and industrial refrigeration, with the opportunity to develop specialist experience in CO2 refrigeration.
CO2 experience is not required – full training and hands-on development will be provided alongside experienced CO2 engineers.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Fault finding, diagnostics and reactive breakdowns
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Completing service and repair documentation
- Building strong customer relationships
- Developing your technical knowledge of CO2 refrigeration systems
We're looking for an experienced refrigeration engineer with:
- F-Gas Certification
- NVQ Level 2 minimum in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning – Level 3 preferred
- Previous refrigeration industry experience
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility to travel across the region, including London
- A genuine interest in developing CO2 refrigeration skills
