We are working with a leading UK renewable energy business that delivers commercial and industrial solar projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Solar Operations Manager to support the delivery, performance and day-to-day management of their operations team.
This is a key role for someone with a strong background in operations management, ideally within renewable energy, solar PV, HV electrical, or wider electrical infrastructure. Candidates without experience in renewable energy or HV electrical environments will not be considered.
The Solar Operations Manager will oversee the successful delivery of solar PV projects and operational activity across multiple sites. You will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing subcontractors, supporting project delivery, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards across health, safety, quality and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operational delivery across solar PV projects
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Support project planning, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
- Monitor project progress, risks, milestones and critical paths
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget
