We’re looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a busy team delivering high-quality installations across commercial and industrial sites in Suffolk and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and test air conditioning systems for commercial, industrial, and retail clients.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure installations meet client specifications.
- Conduct minor maintenance and service work when required.
- Travel within a 30–40 mile radius of Ipswich; overnight stays with notice for longer jobs.
What We Offer:
- Hourly rate £19–£20/hr + plus overtime after 40 hours.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service).
- Pension scheme.
- Comprehensive training in installation, commissioning, refrigeration, brazing, water chillers, and HVAC systems.
- Engineers are home every night for most jobs.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience installing and commissioning air conditioning systems.
- Refrigerant handling qualification (C&G2079 or equivalent).
- Knowledge of HVAC, commercial AC, industrial AC, refrigeration, and water chiller systems.
- Strong organisation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to complete an advanced DBS check.
