We’re looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a busy team delivering high-quality installations across commercial and industrial sites in Suffolk and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and test air conditioning systems for commercial, industrial, and retail clients.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure installations meet client specifications.
  • Conduct minor maintenance and service work when required.
  • Travel within a 30–40 mile radius of Ipswich; overnight stays with notice for longer jobs.

What We Offer:

  • Hourly rate £19–£20/hr + plus overtime after 40 hours.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service).
  • Pension scheme.
  • Comprehensive training in installation, commissioning, refrigeration, brazing, water chillers, and HVAC systems.
  • Engineers are home every night for most jobs.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience installing and commissioning air conditioning systems.
  • Refrigerant handling qualification (C&G2079 or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of HVAC, commercial AC, industrial AC, refrigeration, and water chiller systems.
  • Strong organisation, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to complete an advanced DBS check.
