A well-established and respected mechanical and electrical building services contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their growing team. The business delivers a full range of plumbing, heating, gas, electrical, and HVAC services within the commercial and domestic sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs of commercial gas and HVAC systems, with occasional installation work.
- Work on a range of plant equipment including boilers, burners, pumps, and associated control systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently, ensuring compliance with all gas safety regulations.
- Complete all relevant documentation in accordance with industry standards.
- Travel as required across the Yorkshire region, with occasional work further afield.
- Maintain excellent customer service and uphold company standards on all client sites.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer or similar.
- Current commercial gas qualifications including COCN1, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1, TPCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
- Strong mechanical and plumbing background with the ability to work independently or within a team.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Full UK driving licence required.
