The Role
You will be responsible for
- Programming, setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines
- Working primarily with Hurco machinery
- Programming at the machine using Hurco Win Max controls
- Manufacturing precision-engineered components
- Working on airshafts and airshanks
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out tool changes, offsets and machine adjustments
- Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet required tolerances
- Working independently to produce high-quality components
What We're Looking For
The ideal CNC Miller will have
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Milling Programmer Setter Operator
- Strong 3-axis milling experience
- Experience programming CNC machines
- Hurco Win Max programming knowledge is highly beneficial
- Ability to read technical/engineering drawings
- Confident use of measuring equipment
- A strong precision engineering background
