The Role
As a Web Developer, your primary focus will be on building new client websites and web applications. You will collaborate with our design and marketing teams to develop functional, secure, and visually appealing solutions. This is a permanent, office-based role in Hadleigh, and applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and develop new websites and web applications using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress
- Write clean, well-commented code that is easy to maintain
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to implement features
- Assist with domain, hosting, and DNS setup when required
- Utilize AI tools and prompt engineering to support development and productivity
Must-Have Skills:
- PHP development
- MySQL database experience
- HTML and CSS proficiency
- JavaScript skills
- WordPress development experience
- Experience with AI prompt engineering tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:
- Laravel experience
- Experience building custom CMS and LMS platforms
- Experience and understanding of Figma software
- Git repositories and version control
- Hosting setup and DNS configuration
- Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:15 – 17:15
Friday: 8:15 – 12:45
