YARDI – Business Systems Manager – Central London

Our client is an established and expanding real estate fund, investment, and asset management company with a global portfolio of institutional investors. They are seeking a YARDI Business Systems Manager to work closely with and report to their Director in London. The role involves upgrading and modernising systems and processes to ensure efficient handling of financial and non-financial data on YARDI, and expanding management tools and reports. The client is open to cross-training a property or fund accountant interested in transitioning into Business Systems.

Essential functions include:

• Providing Yardi support to Fund Accountants, Property Managers, Asset Managers.
• Establishing and maintaining controls to protect Yardi system data.
• Overseeing implementation of new mandates, including task assignment and project documentation.
• Managing rollout of new modules and functionalities.
• Collaborating with auditors during system audits.
• Managing issue identification, review, and resolution.
• Configuring and updating system settings.
• Working with departments to improve data ingestion and processes.
• Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Developing project plans, schedules, and timelines.
• Allocating resources and managing budgets.
• Identifying and mitigating risks.
• Communicating project updates and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Serving as the main contact for project communication.
• Preparing reports and documenting lessons learned.
• Ensuring project objectives are met and deliverables are satisfactory.
• Conducting post-project evaluations and preparing closure reports.
