OUR CLIENT is a high-growth, entrepreneurial real estate advisory and accounting firm who are going through a period of growth. They are seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in shaping the next phase of growth. This is a broad, high-impact role offering direct exposure to clients and offering a chance to make a difference.
THE ROLE:
- As Finance Manager, you will act as the lead on all financial matters, combining technical excellence with commercial insight.
- Finance Leadership and Oversight: Overseeing the production of financial accounts. Reviewing and delivering of management accounts and complex entity reporting. Preparing statutory accounts, financial statements and reporting to the Board.
- Technical and Compliance: Ensuring high-quality delivery of accounts in line with IFRS and UK GAAP. Ownership of VAT, audits, and regulatory compliance. Leading year-end processes and managing external auditors.
- Commercial and Strategic Contribution: Leading budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Providing insight into financial performance, cash flow, and debt reporting. Supporting transaction activity, including financial due diligence.
- Client and Business Development: Acting as a senior point of contact for clients. Building strong, trusted relationships across the real estate portfolio. Contributing to business growth and supporting client acquisition initiatives.
THE CANDIDATE:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with strong post-qualified experience.
- Proven experience within the real estate sector (essential).
- Strong technical grounding in IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Background in a fast-paced or growing environment is preferred.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to influence and challenge.
- Confident in client-facing situations and stakeholder management.
