Overview
Commercial Property Accountant. OUR CLIENT is a growing, international real estate investment company that owns large portfolios in major UK cities. They are expanding their London accounting team and are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts (including profit and loss, balance sheets) for 5 entities.
- Preparing financial statements for 5 entities.
- Performing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Processing accounts payable, accounts receivable and expenses.
- Preparing payment runs.
- Preparing monthly cash flow reports and projections.
- Month end closing.
- Posting journal entries including accruals and prepayments.
- Assisting with / submitting VAT and CIS returns.
Requirements
- At least 5 years within a commercial real estate / property company.
- Experience with financial reporting and management accounts is essential.
- Be tech savvy – proficient in Excel.
- Have experience of using a property system such as MRI QUBE, Yardi, TRAMPs or similar.
