OUR CLIENT is a property management firm who has been established for over 25 years. Their portfolio includes both residential and commercial properties, including mansion blocks to mixed use properties. Due to winning new business, they are now seeking a Client Accountant to work with the Accounts Team and Property Managers as well as new clients in order to make sure new properties’ finances are up to date and ensuring handover has been completed.

THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS for the Client Accountant will include:

  • Responsible for preparing year-end complex service charge accounts for residential blocks and commercial properties.
  • Responsible for preparing quarterly client reports.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations.
  • Being first point of client contact regarding the handover of new clients and following up on any outstanding queries.
  • Assisting with VAT returns.
  • Handling day-to-day clients’ queries.
  • Overseeing day to day bank balances and monthly bank reconciliation process.
  • Raising quarterly management fees.
  • Assisting with management of accounts receivable, payable and credit control functions.

THE PERSON and SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have knowledge and experience of the property sector.
  • Familiar with Property Management System such as QUBE/TRAMPS/PROPMAN.
  • Service Charge accounts preparation experience.
  • Happy to work 5 days in the office with 1 day WFH after probation.
