Fixed-Term Contract - Senior Management Accountant Real Estate.
OUR CLIENT are a rapidly growing UK wide property management company who work with some of UK's top developers. They are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to work on a project for the CFO.
THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT:
- Preparing and owning the annual budgeting process, from first draft through to final sign-off.
- Building detailed, bottom-up budgets based on real operational activity, including headcount, volumes, service levels and contract changes.
- Modelling income, direct costs, overheads and margin, taking account of phasing, seasonality and contractual changes.
- Challenging assumptions where they appear optimistic, inconsistent or unsupported, ensuring budgets are realistic and deliverable.
- Supporting accurate cash and margin forecasting, ensuring budgets and phasing profiles feed into wider financial forecasts.
- Helping improve budgeting processes, templates, models and assumption libraries to drive consistency and efficiency.
THE PERSON REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT:
- Ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong post-qualified experience.
- Proven experience owning budgets and forecasts, ideally across a multi-contract, multi-site or service-delivery environment, in Real Estate.
- Excellent financial modelling and Excel skills.
- Strong commercial and analytical thinking.
- Confidence partnering with non-finance stakeholders and constructively challenging assumptions.
