Our Client is a property management firm established for over 25 years, with a portfolio of residential and commercial properties. Due to a restructure and new business, they are now looking for a Head of Client Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be at a Senior Client Accountant/Account Manager level, seeking their next step up.
The Role Requirements
- Managing a team of 5 people.
- Overseeing and managing the year-end service charge accounting process.
- Preparing complex year-end service charge accounts.
- Preparing quarterly and annual client reports.
- Responsible for overseeing the Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
- Preparing bank reconciliation.
- Handling supplier queries.
- Overseeing credit control and ensuring outstanding balances are closed.
- Maintenance of the property management database and implementation of new AI processes/software.
- Collating and running reports.
The Person and Skill Requirements
- MUST HAVE experience of working in a property finance team.
- Experience of mentoring/managing staff.
- Experience of preparing year-end service charge accounts and client reporting.
- Familiar with Property Management System such as QUBE/TRAMPS/YARDI.
- Happy to work 4/5 days in the office to start with.
