Trident Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a busy Therapies Surgery department on a locum basis. The successful candidate will manage a complex caseload and support patient flow across DMOPS wards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex Occupational Therapy caseload on DMOPS wards
- Support patient flow and contribute to efficient ward processes
- Lead and participate in parallel discharge planning
- Provide supervision and support to Junior Occupational Therapists
Requirements:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Previous Band 6 experience, or a strong Band 5 ready to progress within the NHS
- Experience with complex surgical caseloads
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
