Our private client is a leading fertility clinic known for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care within a genuinely patient-centred environment. They are seeking a compassionate and experienced Fertility Nurse to join their multidisciplinary clinical team.
The Role
As a Fertility Nurse at LWC, you will manage a clinical caseload and provide safe, high-quality nursing care across the full fertility treatment pathway. Working closely with consultants, embryology, nursing, and wider clinical teams, you will help ensure care is delivered in line with LWC SOPs and HFEA requirements, while contributing to clinical governance and continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care throughout fertility investigations and treatment
- Manage a clinical caseload in accordance with SOPs and regulatory standards
- Support safe clinical practice and act as a point of reference for patient care and quality
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient pathways
- Support the development of new nursing staff once competent
- Participate in the telephone-based on-call rota as required
About You
Essential:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
- Relevant post-registration experience (fertility, women’s health, or acute care desirable)
- Excellent communication skills with a warm, empathetic approach
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to clinical governance and high standards of care
Desirable:
- Ultrasound scanning experience (preferred but not essential)
