About the Care Home
The care home provides high‑quality, person‑centred care to residents with complex clinical needs. The care home has an established team and regularly works with agency nurses to ensure safe staffing and continuity of care.
The Role
As an agency nurse working within the care home, your duties will include:
- Delivering safe and effective nursing care
- Medication administration, including via PEG
- PEG care including water exchanges and changes
- Catheter care including male, female, and suprapubic
- Basic wound care
- Venepuncture
- Supporting residents with dysphagia
- Working collaboratively with the care home team
This role is well suited to a nurse who is confident working independently in a care home setting and enjoys agency work.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD)
- Previous experience as a nurse in a care home or similar environment
