You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while promoting recovery, independence, and wellbeing. Working on an agency basis, you will have the opportunity to gain experience across various settings, including acute mental health wards, psychiatric intensive care units (PICU), rehabilitation services, community teams, forensic environments, and specialist mental health services. Delivering safe, effective, and compassionate mental health nursing care Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care Building therapeutic relationships with patients and their families Administering medication safely and in accordance with NMC guidelines Supporting patients through their recovery journey Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, clinical governance, and professional standards Promoting dignity, respect, and patient-centred care at all times A valid NMC registration with no restrictions A minimum of 1 year's post-registration experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) The legal Right to Work in the UK DBS Requirements A DBS registered on the Update Service is preferred.
