We are seeking a Locum Band 7 Community Speech and Language Therapist for a full-time, Community Stroke role based in Ilford.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical management and treatment for adult patients with acquired swallowing and communication disorders stemming from stroke.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care across the community.
- Travelling across the area; a car is required.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in treatment of adults with acquired swallowing and communication disorders.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and medical teams.
- Capability to assist with supporting junior staff and colleagues.
- Relevant professional registration (e.g., HCPC) and prior experience as a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and adapt to fast-paced community healthcare settings.
