Clinical Pharmacist needed for long term Locum (Ward-Based) role in BLACKPOOL

Blackpool | £30.61/hr | NHS Contract until Dec 2025 (with view to extend)

Trident Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a long-term locum opportunity at Blackpool. This is a ward-based role within an acute hospital setting, offering stability, impact, and the chance to work across a range of specialities.

Location: Blackpool

Rate: £30.61 per hour

Contract: Immediate Start – Until December 2025 (with view to extend)

Hours: 08:45am – 17:00pm (Weekdays)

Working Arrangement: Onsite only

Role Overview You’ll be delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services across:

• General Medicine
• Surgery
• Orthopaedics

Key responsibilities include:

• Medicines reconciliation
• Reviewing patients and making clinical interventions
• Processing discharges
• Supporting safe and effective prescribing using electronic prescribing systems

Requirements

• GPhC registration
• Previous experience working in an acute hospital setting
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
