Job Description
Start ASAP | £30.61/hr | NHS Contract until Feb 2026
Trident Healthcare is seeking a committed and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support a busy NHS Emergency Department pharmacy service based in Warrington. This is a part-time locum role offering stability, flexibility, and the chance to make a real impact in patient care.
- Location: Warrington
- Rate: £30.61 per hour
- Contract: Immediate Start – Until at least February 2026
- Hours: 15 hours/week over 2 days (08:45am–17:00pm)
- Role Overview
You’ll be delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services within the Emergency Department, including:
- Medicines reconciliation
- Discharge planning
- Structured medication reviews
- Supply management
- Patient counselling
- Acting as the Responsible Pharmacist within the dispensary
Requirements
- GPhC registration
- Previous NHS experience in clinical pharmacy (ED experience preferred)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
