Trident Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Band 7 Sonographer for a locum assignment within a busy NHS department in South London. The successful candidate will independently perform a wide range of obstetric and general ultrasound scans, delivering high‑quality imaging and patient‑centred care.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex obstetric ultrasound examinations
- Carry out non‑obstetric/general ultrasound including abdominal, pelvic, small parts, and vascular (if applicable)
- Provide clear, accurate imaging reports
- Work autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support smooth departmental workflow and clinical administration
Skills And Experience Required
- Strong experience in both obstetric and general ultrasound
- Confident working independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment
