We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Manager to join our Repairs and Maintenance team. You will be positive and solution-focused on everything you do to deliver outstanding services. You will lead and manage the organisation's repairs and maintenance service, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and compliant delivery that prioritises resident safety, satisfaction, and organisational performance. The role will drive operational excellence, embed a performance-led culture, and maintain robust compliance with regulatory standards. You will champion a customer-first approach, ensuring repairs and maintenance services meet resident needs and consistently deliver high satisfaction.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement the Repairs and Maintenance strategy in line with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure alignment with the Group's priorities for delivery of critical services (repair and maintenance, damp and mould treatment, emergency access).
- Drive cultural change to promote ownership, accountability, and transparency across operational teams.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring value for money and cost control.
- Oversee procurement and contract management for external contractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Contribute to tendering, evaluation, and mobilisation of external contractors. Ensure smooth transition and compliance with service standards.
- Oversee responsive repairs, voids, planned maintenance, and cyclical works, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Manage out-of-hours service.
