We are looking for a People & Culture Administrator to join us on a 9-month fixed-term contract, playing a key role in delivering an efficient, people-first HR service. In this role, you will help us provide a seamless experience across the colleague lifecycle—from onboarding to day-to-day support. You will be the friendly, reliable first point of contact for People & Culture queries, ensuring colleagues receive timely, accurate and thoughtful support. Your work will help us stay compliant, keep our systems running smoothly, and uphold the high standards our colleagues expect.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing contracts, letters and employment documentation.
- Managing pre-employment checks, including DBS and Right to Work.
- Setting up new starters and keeping HR systems accurate and compliant.
- Responding to People & Culture queries with warmth, clarity and professionalism.
- Maintaining inboxes and processing requests efficiently.
- Supporting routine reporting, policy updates and compliance checks.
- Supporting managers with absence monitoring, probation tracking and system queries.
- Contributing to improvements across People & Culture processes and workflows.

Experience and Skills:
- Experience in HR administration or a busy transactional service role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation.
- Confidence using HR systems, Microsoft Office and digital tools.
- Clear, people-focused communication skills.
- The ability to stay calm, positive and solution-focused.
- An understanding of confidentiality, data protection and HR basics.
- Experience with HRIS system integration (desirable).
