The role is responsible for overseeing planned investment delivery and maintaining accurate asset information, supporting long-term investment forecasting, coordinating stock condition survey programmes and assisting with the development of planned investment programmes aligned to organisational priorities and available budgets.
The Asset Investment Manager will oversee the management of asset-related data and performance information to support operational decision‑making, investment planning and regulatory reporting. The role will also monitor planned investment activity and contractor performance, working closely with the wider Property Services team and external consultants.
- Coordinate and maintain accurate stock condition, component and asset performance data across the housing portfolio.
- Manage stock condition survey programmes undertaken by external consultants, ensuring data quality, validation and appropriate coverage levels.
- Undertake the development and maintenance of planned investment programmes based on asset intelligence, lifecycle information and property condition.
- Maintain oversight of EPC data and support the coordination of energy efficiency and sustainability‑related asset information for investment.
- Develop and maintain asset investment forecasting information to support business planning and budget setting processes.
- Produce asset performance analysis, KPI reporting and investment‑related management information to support operational and strategic decision‑making.
- Work with the Business Analyst to develop reporting frameworks, dashboards and asset intelligence outputs across Property Services.
- Support the management of investment‑related complaints, enquiries and technical information requests where required.

- Experience of asset management, planned investment or asset data management within social housing or a similar property environment.
- Experience of managing stock condition data and survey programmes.
- Experience of analysing and interpreting asset‑related data to support investment planning.
- Experience of working with housing management systems, asset systems and performance reporting tools.
- Knowledge of EPC management, component lifecycle planning and planned investment principles.
- Experience of contractor or consultant coordination within a property or asset environment.
- Strong analytical and data management capability.
- Good understanding of planned investment and asset management principles.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Relevant qualification in Asset Management, Building Surveying, Property, Construction, Data Analysis or related discipline.
- Professional membership with CIOB, RICS or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
- Evidence of continued professional development relevant to asset management, data management or property services.
