We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced ASB officer to manage a caseload of high-level complaints and work with local authorities and other community safety professionals to resolve conflict in the community. You will act as an expert on anti-social behaviour, providing a high-quality service and point of contact for customers. The position will involve providing a proactive anti-social behaviour service which includes investigative, enforcement and preventative activities.
You will be part of a strong and dynamic team that will achieve the key duties required, role modelling a positive and honest approach in every interaction that you have with residents and customers. This role plays a key part in prevention and early intervention to resolve anti-social behaviour that is causing social harm and impacting on community safety and the well-being of others. The role involves identifying solutions that promote safer and stronger communities, utilising local resources and maintaining contact with those affected to ensure outcomes are sustained.
Key Responsibilities- Contributing to service improvement, ensuring teams are implementing the ASB policy and working within the remit of legislation, ensuring completion of vulnerability risk assessments as a priority for ASB victims to determine appropriate action and working in collaboration with partner agencies.
- Addressing safeguarding issues, working to remove residents from immediate risk and inform a long-term action plan to provide a permanent solution for all residents affected and ensuring the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people and children in line with Safeguarding regulations.
- To ensure and support Teams self-develop design out crime action plans to resolve nuisance, environmental crime and ASB on estates. To ensure that action plans include key agencies, such as Police, Community Safety, Environmental Services and Repairs.
- To provide monthly performance reports to the Exec Team and Senior Management when requested. To ensure that reports also include action plans to address any areas of low performance.
- Review and analyse data relating to complaints to identify themes, trends, areas for improvement, where training or awareness is required to increase levels of satisfaction of how ASB is handled affecting TSM's.
- To work with Housing Officers and Customer Engagement Team to prioritise all reports of ASB and nuisance. To monitor performance and quality check low level nuisance and ASB cases.

- Have proven experience within the social housing sector or local authority dealing with ASB and tenancy breaches.
- Experience / knowledge of all issues relating to safeguarding, good practice and passionate about working with stakeholders to respond appropriately in line with the Six Principles of safeguarding.
- Good communication skills and a 'can do' approach to our residents/customers, internal/external stakeholders and forging new partnerships.
- Confident in communicating with people in challenging circumstances involving ASB and jointly agree resolutions.
- Good IT skills and able to use relationship management, housing management systems and produce quality reports suitable for a variety of audiences containing data analysis, case studies, key findings and recommendations.
- Able to use your own initiative, organising your workload to meet KPIs.
