About The Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Housing Officer who will be responsible for a patch of approximately 600 homes across a dispersed area, dealing with Estate Management issues, low level ASB, tenancy sustainment, lettings and other Tenancy related aspects.

About You

  • It is essential that you can work independently with minimal supervision, organising your workload to meet goals and KPIs that are set.
  • The post is full time, with travel across the Midlands, the role qualifies for an essential car user allowance.
  • Working knowledge of legislation relevant to Estate and Housing Management.
  • Knowledge of legal enforcement proceedings via the County Court.
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicating with other colleagues across all departments in order to ensure a joined up approach to Tenancy Management and a seamless service to our customers.
  • Provide impartiality and consistency in all alleged incidents of anti-social behaviour and be pro‑active in initiating the necessary resolutions within the timescales and in accordance with Trident’s Policy & Procedure.
  • Provide a visible and positive housing presence where customers have a dedicated first point of contact.
  • Complete Estate and Community Inspections raising and following up on appropriate corrective actions to customer satisfaction to ensure residents' communal areas and neighbourhoods are pleasant, well‑maintained and safe places to live.
  • Understanding all services and charges provided to estates, properties and communal areas and explaining such charges to residents whilst also ensuring the quality of services provided.
  • To support customers affected by welfare reforms and benefit changes, facilitating access to employment and digital support and helping them to make appropriate claims.
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities for Estate improvement and therefore obtaining thorough and accurate quotations and providing detailed proposals in accordance with the annual estate budgets system.
