About the Role
Provide person‑centered support to customers, reporting safeguarding concerns in line with policy and procedure. Support customers with life skills and empower them to make a positive contribution to society and become self‑sufficient; this includes recording case studies that reflect achievements of outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Providing flexible, responsive service which operates in a timely and person‑centred manner.
- Signposting customers to relevant sources of information, support, guidance and advice.
- Effectively working in partnership with external agencies for the benefit of customers.
- Completing and following clear risk assessments, and adhering to the organisation’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Completing and maintaining accurate records in line with the requirements (including detailed support plans, risk assessments and regular checks).
- Ensuring all service delivery is non‑judgemental and is delivered in line with equality and diversity requirements.
- Accurately record and capture client risk information and contribute to the formation of risk management plans.
- Ensuring the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people and children in line with Safeguarding regulations, and playing an active role in working flexibly to support the service as and when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
- A working knowledge of legislation in regards to delivering support to vulnerable people.
- Experience of working within a busy support environment.
- Experience of keeping accurate and compliant records.
- Experience of working with Microsoft applications.
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
