About the role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Analysis and Treasury, the purpose of this role is to support the delivery of a comprehensive business planning, treasury, and development accounting service across the Group. The role involves assisting with dayβtoβday treasury activities, including cash and liquidity management, loan administration, covenant monitoring and reporting and ensuring compliance by assisting in producing the Regulator of Social Housing key submissions.
What youβll be doing
- Data β Be comfortable with data and systems (Proval, Brixx, MS package) to maintain crucial data relating to our property portfolio, treasury and financial plan.
- Treasury β Support the treasury function through monitoring daily cash position as well as preparing cashflow and liquidity forecasts, managing loan portfolios and banking operations including calculating loan covenants and completing treasury transactions through month end journals including balance sheet reconciliation and interest journals.
- FP&A β Support the FP&A function through updating the business plan using BRIXX and maintaining FP&A dashboard.
- Development appraisals β Use and maintain Proval to produce outputs to assess financial viability of new development schemes or new business projects.
- Regulation β Assist in producing key regulatory submissions including SDR, QFS and FFR.
- Process and system improvement β Take initiative and collaborate across the business on building new processes to speed up analysis and provide assurance on reporting.
Who weβre looking for?
- Part qualified and/or significant finance/treasury experience in the housing sector.
- Treasury and project appraisal experience.
- Knowledge of social housing finance and the rent standard with knowledge of controls, compliance and regulations.
- Data and IT literate; in particular strong Excel skills and preferably experience in software such as Proval, Brixx and Power Bi.
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective collaboration with both internal and external customers.
- Positive and proactive team player. Organise own time and prioritise workloads.
